We are due in [name_f]September[/name_f], but already have a boy shortlist. ([name_m]Jonah[/name_m], [name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Max[/name_u] or [name_m]Jack[/name_m] :)). Girls names are harder! We know lots of girl babies and have lots of girls in the family. So good names are gone. I really like [name_f]Beth[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] right now, think it is classy, and [name_f]Beth[/name_f] is ons of the few names I like that hasn’t got too popular! What are your thoughts? Xx
I think [name_f]Beth[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] is stunning! It’s so classic and elegant, yet rather unusual for a baby girl now. I love it!
Thank you :).
[name_f]Beth[/name_f] is lovely! If you’re planning to pronounce [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] as mad-uh-lynn, it flows even better. Plus [name_f]Beth[/name_f] goes well with your favorite boys’ names (especially [name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_u]Max[/name_u], and [name_m]Jack[/name_m]) as slightly old-fashioned nicknames that stand on their own. I’d say you’ve found a winner!
Other suggestions I’d have are [name_f]Tess[/name_f] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f].
I love the name [name_f]Beth[/name_f]! Sadly taken by a family member.
[name_f]Beth[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] is very nice. I’m not overly convinced by [name_f]Beth[/name_f] [name_m]Baker[/name_m], but there are worse combinations out there.
Thanks! Yes I agree I’d rather the name wasn’t alliterative, but I don’t think it bothers me enough not to go with it! Xx
[name_f]Beth[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] is lovely, however Im not keen on [name_f]Beth[/name_f] with the surname. Would [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Beth[/name_f] be an option, so [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] can go with the surname? Or [name_f]Lizbeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]? [name_f]Beth[/name_f] on it’s own is a lovely name though so I can see how you’re drawn to it!
Very pretty combo.
