I picked [name_f]Betty[/name_f] but I think both could be cute and catch on soon.
I actually saw a birth announcement for a little [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] not that long ago. Not [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], just [name_f]Betsy[/name_f].

Im not crazy about either of them, I prefer [name_f]Bess[/name_f] or [name_f]Bessie[/name_f].
But between [name_f]Betty[/name_f] or [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] takes my vote!

I like [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f] too, but that’s what I go by. I think it would be extra confusing if my daughter and I shared not just a formal name, but a nickname too! I’ll also probably avoid nns [name_f]Bizzy[/name_f] ([name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/Elizabeth) and [name_f]Lissy[/name_f] ([name_f]Alice[/name_f]) but I love them.

I love both, but I think [name_f]Betty[/name_f] has a slight edge!
