To me they are all very different names!
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] - Irish surname name, seems very 70s/80s to me.
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] - Biblical sounding, cool connections of Hey [name_u]Jude[/name_u] etc., cooler and quirkier than the others
[name_m]Marlon[/name_m] - again very 70s/80s sounding to me, but then [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] [name_m]Brando[/name_m] is a cool association. Can’t really imagine it on a little boy
My personal taste would go for [name_u]Jude[/name_u] as my favourite. Also depends on your surname - especially syllable length/last sound
I think I would go with [name_m]Marlon[/name_m]. I really dislike [name_m]Donovan[/name_m], and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] isn’t my style.
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] is definitely my favorite! [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] is my second choice.

[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] is cool, kind of hip. I love [name_m]Davenport[/name_m] which feels similar, though even edgier.
However I love the nicknames with [name_m]Davenport[/name_m] (Dav, [name_u]Daven[/name_u], [name_m]Dave[/name_m], [name_m]Davey[/name_m]/[name_m]Davy[/name_m], [name_m]Ven[/name_m], [name_m]Port[/name_m], [name_u]Porter[/name_u]) and I loathe [name_m]DON[/name_m] (for oh so many reasons, some quite topical!). [name_u]Van[/name_u] or [name_m]Vance[/name_m] are cool nn’s, but for me, [name_m]Don[/name_m] is a deal-breaker. Not sure how you feel about [name_m]Don[/name_m]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if it were not his official name, people who like you do shorten your name.
[name_m]Marlon[/name_m] is OK, but it makes me think of [name_m]Brando[/name_m] who I find repulsive. Many today would not know [name_m]Brando[/name_m], so maybe that is a moot point.
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] though I adore. I want to date a [name_u]Jude[/name_u] (my husband knows this. :)) [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Law[/name_m] of course.
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m]- a cool and collected name. Familiar even though I’ve never met a [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]. I like the nn options, meaning your son will have choices!
[name_u]Jude[/name_u]- while this name has humble and classic roots I think it seems very fad-ish at the moment. I picture a surfer boy, probably because it sounds like ‘dude’ to me- not really positive or negative haha
[name_m]Marlon[/name_m]- I love the idea of [name_m]Marlon[/name_m], a quirky classic. But something in me can’t quite imagine a sweet, little [name_m]Marlon[/name_m].

I really like [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] & [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. I even really like [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] ([name_u]Van[/name_u]) [name_u]Jude[/name_u] or [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]! There is nothing appealing to me about [name_m]Marlon[/name_m]. It feels out of style 70s to me.
I like all three (though I have a personal preference for [name_u]Jude[/name_u]). I think it really depends on the middle you choose, and on the surname.

[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] has a cool rugged vibe!
[name_m]Marlon[/name_m] is cool as well. Reminds me of a leader.
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] has a more feminine feel to me. Reminds me of [name_f]Judy[/name_f], [name_f]Judi[/name_f] or [name_f]Judith[/name_f]…
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] is my favourite out of the three!
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] - I love this a lot, and am toying with where to put him on my own list. [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] is just so cool and down-to-earth. (Although I apparently feel this way about a lot of Irish names, which is probably why I love them so much! haha.)
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] - I like it a lot, but like [name_m]Judah[/name_m] slightly more. [name_m]Judah[/name_m] feels more wearable to me, while [name_u]Jude[/name_u] feels like he needs to be cool to pull it off. I don’t know.
[name_m]Marlon[/name_m] - I think of [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] [name_m]Brando[/name_m], too, but it’s not my thing, really. I like your other names much more.

I’ll say [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] would be completely unexpected though!
My favourite would be [name_u]Jude[/name_u], I think. That or [name_m]Donovan[/name_m].
I happen to love the name [name_u]Jude[/name_u], so that one gets my vote! Though [name_m]Marlon[/name_m], to me, is absolutely adorable on a little boy (and also ages well).

the other two are not particularly my style.
I really like [name_u]Jude[/name_u], that gets my vote! [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] is a close second though. I think it sounds really nice and masculine. [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] would be last, just because it reminds me of a fish.
Absolutely [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]! It’s an underused classic. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] sounds unfinished to me, and it’s getting trendy; [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] is still too dusty for me to imagine it on a little boy.
[name_m]Marlon[/name_m] reminds me of Finding [name_m]Nemo[/name_m]. It’s nice though.
