I am soooo happy right now!!! [name]Just[/name] got a positive pregnancy test yesterday! Still having a hard time believing our dream is finally coming true!! I’ve always been a name nerd, but now I have a great excuse to be on nameberry constantly!

I like the name [name]Ellen[/name] best of your choices. I find it underused and a fresh alternative to the [name]Ella[/name]/[name]Elly[/name] trend. NTM the nickname [name]Nell[/name] is a favorite of mine:)

I’m hesitant to mention the middle name we’re using just yet, because I want opinions on the first names individually, not on which one has the bet flow. Know what I mean? I’m not overly worried about flow between first and middle (although I think they all work fine with our middle) since usually we would just be using first and last name.

[name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Arielle[/name], [name]Coralie[/name], and [name]Charlotte[/name] ([name]Charlotte[/name]!) are my favorites. I love them all pretty much equally–with the exception of [name]Charlotte[/name], they all usually hover just outside my short list, but still huge favorites. As [name]Charlotte[/name]'s on my short list, though, I’ll always have a soft spot for her. I don’t think you could really go wrong with any of them though.
As far as [name]Laurel[/name] goes… I love the French [name]Laure[/name], which is fairly unexpected and really cool, imo. I also love the spunky [name]Lola[/name]. And [name]Elle[/name]/[name]Ella[/name]/[name]Ellie[/name] is also a possibility.
Speaking as an [name]Ellen[/name], I’d happily advocate for its being a great name
I too would also second [name]Laurel[/name] and the French nn [name]Laure[/name]. You might also get [name]Rella[/name] or [name]Elle[/name] out of [name]Laurel[/name].
Ok I have to ask… When you say [name]Laurel[/name] how are you pronouncing it? With a Laur sound or a lore sound? I’m liking the suggestion of [name]Laure[/name] as a nn. Never thought of that for some reason!
