I just got a positive pregnancy test!!!
Oh my goodness! I’m 100% shocked! We have 6 month twins; how am I ever going to do this? We always knew we wanted our kids close in age but this might be crazy!
I’m so pumped! It took us over a year to get pregnant with the twins, but this was only the second cycle that we tried.
I’m away on a girls weekend with some friends right now, any ideas on how to tell my husband when I get back?
Congrats! Maybe try and incorporate your sons into telling your husband. Big brother onesies?
Congrats! It’s a wonderful blessing, it will be very intense and stressful with twins and a new baby, but I’m sure that you can manage.
Enjoy breaking the news to your husband. I am sure you’ll think of a really neat way. I agree to incorporate your kiddos in it.
Wow, that’s so exciting! You can do it, Mama!
[name_m]How[/name_m] exciting!! Congratulations! You can totally do this!
I think it would be super cute to involve your twins in the announcement some way.
That’s awesome news! I know if it were me I wouldn’t be able to wait to do something fun and creative. If you’re the patient type who can keep a secret you could definitely do something with your boys. Either big brother shirts or set the table for 1 extra with baby utensils or just pull out a newborn outfit and wait til he notices it’s the wrong size for your boys. [name_m]Even[/name_m] a cute card from your son’s could be nice and you can save it to remember this day. I wish you lots of luck and many congratulations!
That’s great news! Congratulations!!
Congratulations! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t envious of you right now. You’re so lucky! Good luck!
Thank you for the suggestions! I did tell my husband yesterday. Actually, about a month ago my brother got the boys onesies as a joke: one says “big brother” and one says “little brother”. He got them to sort of make fun of the fact that they’re twins, because [name_m]Miles[/name_m] is technically older.
Anyway, as I was coming home the other day, I went to look for a good way to tell my husband, and I found the exact same onesie that [name_m]Miles[/name_m] has, so I got another one. When my husband got home from work, he saw [name_m]Gabe[/name_m] in the “big brother” onesie. When he turned to tell me that I mixed the boys up while dressing them (they’re identical), I handed him [name_m]Miles[/name_m], also sporting “big brother”.
It took him a long time to figure it out, but it was a really sweet moment. Thank you all again for the suggestion. For those of you out there struggling with infertility, don’t lose hope. I know firsthand how hard it can be. Thinking of you!
