Biblical names when you're not religious

I’m religious, and while I would assume that a [name]Gideon[/name] or a [name]Malachi[/name] came from a religious family, I wouldn’t be startled or offended to find out otherwise. [name]Even[/name] when I considered myself agnostic I still loved Biblical names. For me then, it was about honoring my family’s religious heritage (almost entirely Southern Baptist) and the major role that faith played in the lives of my family. But if you just think that [name]Gideon[/name] and [name]Malachi[/name] are awesome names (which they are), then I don’t see any reason why you, as an atheist, can’t use them.
