Big Brothers Big Sisters Names

Hey all! I work for Big Brothers Big [name]Sister[/name] at my school and I thought it’d be fun to share with you my kids’ names! I think they are really reflective of Midwestern name trends.

[name]Ally[/name] ([name]Allison[/name])
[name]Natalie[/name] (x2)
[name]Matthew[/name] & [name]Michael[/name] (Twins)
[name]Elizabeth[/name] & [name]Lindsay[/name] (Twins)
[name]Riley[/name] (x 2, both boys)
[name]Kennedy[/name] (girl)

Also, I was talking to [name]Brooklyn[/name] and [name]Kennedy[/name] and they said that their favorite names are [name]Delilah[/name] and [name]Penelope[/name]. [name]How[/name] pretty!

It would actually be nice to have some more popular names in my class. I’m a teacher at a 98% hispanic school. Hear are the more interesting names I’ve run across in the past few years. Some aren’t as unusual as others, but they still strike me as odd choices. Make sure you roll your r to get the full effect. They can be fun to say.

[name]Misael[/name] (mee-sigh-el)
[name]Dariana[/name] (dar-ee-ah-nuh)
[name]Ulises[/name] (oo-lee-sees)
[name]Uriel[/name] (oo-ree-el)
[name]Yulissa[/name] (yoo-lisa)
[name]Agustin[/name] (august-een)
Suhail (swa-eel)
Janeli (yuh-nehlly)
Yarely (yuh-rehlly)
Irlanda (ear-lawn-duh)
[name]Graciela[/name] (grah-see-el-uh)
[name]Griselda[/name] (gree-sell-duh)
Anay (ahn-ah-ee)
Libna (leeb-nuh)
[name]Efrain[/name] (ee-frah-een)

You’re right! Some of those are really pretty! [name]Love[/name] the rolled r’s. [name]Dariana[/name] is one that doesn’t look nice, but sounds beautiful.

I like that I’m a teacher and put “hear” instead of “here”.
