My husband and I are an interracial couple. I am Canadian and he is Japanese. We’ve decided to use an English name and a Japanese name for our baby girl. Please tell me which combo you like the most -
[name_u]Love[/name_u] both [name_f]Sakura[/name_f] and [name_f]Sora[/name_f]! Great choices with gorgeous meanings and lovely international sounds.
I like [name_f]Sakura[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Sakura[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sora[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] best. I couldn’t choose between them (but would just like to point out that sound-wise “[name_f]Sora[/name_f]” would actually work as a nickname for [name_f]Sakura[/name_f], if you wanted to be able to use both!)
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Sora[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]! What a beautiful name! [name_f]Sakura[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is a close second
I really like Sakura Belle. My only issue with Rose, Rosalie, or Rosabelle with Sakura is that it’s too floral, I’m of the mind of picking one botanical name per child. That being said Sakura Rosalie is pretty.
Sora is a nice name but I’m not sure about the cadence with any of the possible middles. (I like the idea of Sora Emmeline but for some reason have difficulty saying the two names together out loud.) I do like the idea of Sakura Emmeline though.
