I can totally see [name_u]Billie[/name_u] for a [name_u]Willow[/name_u] but have a harder time seeing it with [name_f]Willa[/name_f]

It’s cute! Works perfectly (more so for [name_f]Willa[/name_f], but fine with [name_u]Willow[/name_u] too.)

I think it works! Though I definitely like [name_u]Willow[/name_u] nn [name_u]Billie[/name_u] better than [name_f]Willa[/name_f]. [name_f]Willa[/name_f] already has a nickname-y feel to me, while [name_u]Willow[/name_u] feels like a full name that could support a nickname.

These are my thoughts too!
If Billy and Bill are common nicknames for William them there’s no reason Billie doesn’t work for it’s feminizations and sound-alike names!
Plus Bill on a girl is a huge guilty pleasure of mine

If [name_u]Billy[/name_u] can be a nn for [name_u]William[/name_u] for a boy, then I see no reason why [name_u]Billie[/name_u] can’t be a nn for [name_f]Willa[/name_f] or [name_u]Willow[/name_u] for a girl

I love [name_u]Billie[/name_u], and think it’s adorable! I do feel it’s a bit stretchy for Willa/Willow, but it could work, especially since Bill/Billy is valid for [name_u]William[/name_u].
