Hey I love the name [name_u]Billie[/name_u] for a girl but can’t decide if I can stand alone.
Could you please give me your opinions and longer names to get [name_u]Billie[/name_u].
I love it a stand alone, but some longer options [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] is a lovely way to get to [name_u]Billie[/name_u], but I agree with previous poster, it’s very cute on it’s own, and [name_f]Millie[/name_f] stands alone quite well.
I think it’s just fine on its own.
I think it works. There seem to be a few female [name_u]Billie[/name_u] celebs who pull it off pretty well, my first thought was [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_u]Piper[/name_u], which reminds me I’m really liking [name_m]Bill[/name_m] at the moment because of [name_m]Doctor[/name_m] Who haha. Anyway, my favourite name with nn [name_m]Bill[/name_m] is [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] or [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f]/[name_f]Sybilla[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], or [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] could work too. Maybe [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] or any [name_f]Belle[/name_f] name could shift to [name_u]Billie[/name_u].
I’m also loving [name_m]Bill[/name_m] from [name_m]Doctor[/name_m] Who as well as [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] reference as well.
I’m in the same boat as you–love [name_u]Billie[/name_u] but don’t know how to GET there. The only female [name_u]Billie[/name_u] I know in real life is actually named [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
I agree with ALL the suggestions everyone else has thrown out and would add [name_u]Abilene[/name_u] & [name_f]Jubilee[/name_f].
[name_u]Billie[/name_u] on its own is great i.e. [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] and [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_u]Piper[/name_u].
I think [name_u]Billie[/name_u] works fine as a standalone name. But just to throw out a name I haven’t seen suggested yet, I know a woman named [name_f]Belinda[/name_f] who goes by [name_u]Billie[/name_u].
The girl named [name_u]Billie[/name_u] I know is actually named [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I think it’s a cute, creative nickname for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but it could also stand alone.
[name_u]Billie[/name_u] totally works on it’s own and is both cute and spunky, I think. I like [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] or [name_f]Willa[/name_f] though as far as longer names go.
