instead of using my grandmothers’ names that i don’t particularly care for, i’m trying to go the route of using their favorite pastime/hobby/what they’re ‘known’ for. for one grandmother it’s her love of books. always reading something. for the other, she adooored birds.
i already have [name_u]Story[/name_u] on my list of favorites & the book = [name_u]Story[/name_u] thing totally works there. but idk about the bird reference? i like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] a lot, but i’d like to be able to use [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a second middle name, & [name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] doesn’t flow anyway.
anything suggestions for [name_u]Story[/name_u] ____ [name_f]Jane[/name_f]?
[name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] …[name_f]Mavis[/name_f] is a name that relates to a small bird, a thrush, and they sing beautifully, particularly the wood thrush.
[name_f]Ava[/name_f],… [name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]… the name [name_f]Ava[/name_f] relates to birds! as does the name [name_f]Merel[/name_f], which is the Dutch word for black bird. [name_f]Meryl[/name_f] sounds similar to [name_f]Merel[/name_f].
[name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_f]Avianna[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_u]Story[/name_u] Avielle [name_f]Jane[/name_f] ???not sure if these are names that are in a name book or recorded anywhere, but because they have the [name_f]Ava[/name_f] prefix, you could play around with the letters and see what you like.
lark, [name_u]Robin[/name_u], raven, and maybe any name that has to do with trees, since birds live in them, at least insist birds do. trees names may be easier to find a girls name for…
[name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]? I rather like that, anyhow. I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u], but if you want [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a second middle, neither works rather well, unfortunately. I always LOVED [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] for a girl, until [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] [name_m]Richie[/name_m] used it (le sigh). Now I’m not sure if I can see it on a girl or not, but I think it’s delightful, regardless! [name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] doesn’t flow particularly well, either, though. [name_f]Starling[/name_f], either. It’s too alliterative, I think. Maybe [name_f]Alouette[/name_f]? [name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_f]Alouette[/name_f]? I think it’s rather sweet…
