Birdie for Roberta?

What do you think? I’ll probably never use it, but sometimes I like gender bending my honor names and I love the thought of a little [name_u]Bird[/name_u] named after my dad. I pronounce [name_f]Roberta[/name_f] “ra-[name_u]Bird[/name_u]-uh” and don’t really like [name_u]Bobbie[/name_u] (though I love [name_u]Bobby[/name_u] for a boy). Does it work?

I think it works. If [name_u]Bertie[/name_u] can work for [name_m]Robert[/name_m], then [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] sure can work for [name_f]Roberta[/name_f]!

I think it’s rlly cute!

I think it works perfectly!

Definitely works! Quite cute!

I love this idea! So sweet :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

aww so cute!

Birdie works!

Totally works !! Rather well actually

I definitely think it could work. I also think [name_u]Bobby[/name_u] is so sweet from [name_f]Roberta[/name_f]

Other nicknames for [name_m]Robert[/name_m] are [name_u]Bert[/name_u] and [name_u]Bertie[/name_u]. So [name_f]Roberta[/name_f] nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] could fit in there quite well.

Definitely works!

It works and it’s cute!

Yes it works, and it’s so cute!!

It’s cute and it works. Definitely not more stretch than [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f].

I think it works, especially with that pronunciation of [name_f]Roberta[/name_f]
