It was not what I wanted. But if I didn’t pick that name then I wouldn’t have been allowed back home. I would’ve been homeless with my newborn baby.
I’m suffering with PPD and my son having a name that I dislike just makes it that much harder to bond with him.
I’m moving in the next few weeks and have for now, distancing myself from my mom. I want to change his name to what I WANT. I’m done giving into what others want just to make them happy. This was MY first born son, I should have been able to name him what I wanted.
That being said, I never got to really go into depth and look at names so I don’t really know what I like or what fits him.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like a certain style such as unique, modern, unisex, nature themed, popular, Celtic, romantic, biblical, etc? Firstly I’m so sorry for the struggles you’ve been facing as a new mother you sound incredibly strong and I’m wishing you a smoother journey moving forward. Also I just want to say please see if you can find resources to help with your PPD and any support groups for mother’s who may lack that family support I’m a relatively new mother (my daughter is 4 months old) and it’s hard finding some form of support system could help you.
