[name_f]Sister[/name_f] for [name_f]Bria[/name_f]: Hpw do you like [name_u]Blair[/name_u]? Prefer alt spelling variation? Is it TOO trendy? Is it too masculine? We didn’t mean a B sibset – how do you feel abt the names together?
I think [name_u]Blair[/name_u] is sort of over, as far as trendiness goes. Have you considered [name_u]Adair[/name_u]? Same vibe, avoids the matchy “B” theme, and is still uncommon enough to be very cool.
I quite like [name_u]Blair[/name_u] (it was on the list for our first daughter) and I know a darling girl named [name_u]Jamie[/name_u]-[name_u]Blair[/name_u].
But I don’t think [name_f]Bria[/name_f] and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] are good as a sibset though, they’re a tad to similar I think.
And I second rlinden’s suggestion of [name_u]Adair[/name_u]
I think it’s a bit similar with the ‘b’ sound beginning, and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] feels like a boy’s name to me, while [name_f]Bria[/name_f] is decidedly feminine. I’m always a bit cautious of starting a ‘b’ sibset, and then having the third one ‘left out’ as well. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_f]Claire[/name_f]?
Actually we came up w [name_u]Blair[/name_u] to replace [name_f]Claire[/name_f] on our list. [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is far too common for my taste. But DH likes the daddy nickname ‘[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_m]Bear[/name_m]’ so we now have [name_u]Blair[/name_u] in to give him his nn and to give me unique-ness.
