Ok, this might end up being a guilty pleasure as I don’t normally like boys names on girls, but I’m starting to like [name]Blaire[/name]/[name]Blair[/name] (not sure which spelling) for a girl, and the bonus is that it is a name in my family tree.
[name]Just[/name] curious as to what middle names and sibling names you think go with [name]Blaire[/name]/[name]Blair[/name] and which spelling is better.
It used to be on my favorites list, but I’ve kind of grown out of it for some reason. I prefer the [name]Blaire[/name] spelling, it looks more feminine. My favorite combinations were [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Christine[/name], and [name]Blaire[/name] [name]Kathryn[/name]. I never really thought of sibling names, but I also considered [name]Blythe[/name] as an alternative.
I love [name]Blaire[/name]/[name]Blair[/name], because I knew an absolutely wonderful person with the name.
It seems to be one of those few names that truly works for either gender, it’s not more boy or more girl. I would choose the [name]Blaire[/name] spelling for a girl though.
Despite the popularity of surname type names and the rhyming [name]Claire[/name], I don’t think it will ever be overexposed, which is another thing I like about it.
I think it could make a great first or middle, but especially middle.
Good luck!
PS: Arilee_sc, I love the idea of [name]Blythe[/name] as an alternative!
I like [name]Blair[/name] (spelled like that).
I think any classy and slightly unusual name will go with it as a sibling name.
I really like [name]Blair[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name], [name]Blair[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Blair[/name] [name]Emilia[/name].
I love [name]Blair[/name]/[name]Blaire[/name] on both boys and girls. In fact a girl in my grade has a brother called [name]Blair[/name], and her name is [name]Philippa[/name] ([name]Pip[/name]). I think their names compliment eachother quiet well. Other sibling names I see with [name]Blaire[/name]/[name]Blair[/name] (I think I prefer [name]Blaire[/name] on a girl) are…
Girls
[name]Darcy[/name] ([name]Darcy[/name] and [name]Blair[/name] are the few unisex namesI actually like)
[name]Fiona[/name]
[name]Pippa[/name]
[name]Piper[/name]
[name]Fifer[/name]
[name]Delaney[/name]
[name]Holly[/name]
[name]Gina[/name]
[name]Keeley[/name]
I think longer feminine names work best for a mn.
[name]Blaire[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]
[name]Blaire[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name]
[name]Blaire[/name] [name]Savannah[/name]
[name]Blaire[/name] [name]Jillian[/name]
[name]Blaire[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Blaire[/name] [name]Georgina[/name]
I prefer the [name]Blair[/name] spelling, and I’ve never heard this name on a boy! I think [name]Blair[/name] looks more elegant and effortless. I like it!
For siblings, I would suggest [name]Brody[/name], [name]Cameron[/name], [name]Finlay[/name], [name]Kyle[/name], and [name]Lennox[/name] for boys, and [name]Mackenzie[/name], [name]Paisley[/name], [name]Greer[/name], and [name]Skye[/name] for girls.
I like the [name]Blair[/name] spelling more than I do the [name]Blaire[/name] spelling, but it may just be because the Blairs I know have spelling it “[name]Blair[/name]” (even the male [name]Blair[/name]).
I really like [name]Blair[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]…
With [name]Blair[/name] being unisex, I picture either surnames or modern sounding names with [name]Blair[/name], like:
