What do you think about the name [name]Blaire[/name]? People I’ve mentioned this name to seem to think it sounds snobby or pretentious. Maybe because I’ve never seen any of the TV shows they are referencing, but it sounds like a fun, spunky girl’s name to me, not snobby at all. (I realize it’s unisex, and yes, I prefer it spelled with an e)
Big sister is [name]Allison[/name], nn [name]Ally[/name].
We have 8 weeks left and can’t seem to settle on “the one”
I [name]LOVE[/name] it. My favourite spelling is [name]Blaire[/name] too because it has this more girly vibe. [name]IMO[/name] it’s much better than the overrated [name]Claire[/name]. Besides that I think it sounds really good with [name]Allison[/name].
I really like the name [name]Blair/name. Personally I like [name]Blair[/name] best, but both spellings are awesome! [name]Ally[/name] and [name]Blaire[/name] sound and look great together!
[name]Blaire[/name] is an awesome name! I love it! It sounds great with [name]Allison[/name] as well. [name]Allison[/name] and [name]Blaire[/name],… [name]Ally[/name] & [name]Blaire[/name] great sibset!
Personally [name]Blair[/name] sounds really harsh and masculine but with the e on the end it looks so much better and more girly. Looks so much better with the e, goes well with [name]Allison[/name] too
It’s not a name I like, mainly because I of the words that come to my mind with the sound combination “blah” “bland” “blare” “blame” “blast” “blade” and other bla words. Not exactly positive associations.
Well, having lived 25 years now with this name, I honestly can say I love my name. I grew up in an area where anyone not named [name]Ashley[/name] or [name]Jessica[/name] was deemed “weird” so as a child, I felt like my name was too different. But now, I love that its not a name you hear everyday. I’ve never had an issue with people thinking I was a boy or anything. When I introduce myself, people always seem genuinely intrigued by my name. I think [name]Allison[/name] and [name]Blaire[/name] would make an adorable set and I do much prefer the spelling with an e, but be prepared for people spelling it wrong her entire life. People will look at my name in writing and still spell it wrong when they’re typing to me. [name]Do[/name] people just assume that I’m spelling my own name wrong?
