Bloggers

There are loads of bloggers out there who blog about motherhood, baby names, or both. For instance, all four of the names of [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Woolf[/name]'s children ([name]Archer[/name], [name]Fable[/name], [name]Reverie[/name], and [name]Boheme[/name]) from the blog Girl’s Gone Child seem to turn up not infrequently on lists on baby name forums, whereas before she used them they were next to unheard of. She comes to mind as someone who’s particularly well-known and I suppose influential when I think of bloggers who have had an effect on baby names.

Are there any mom bloggers or baby name bloggers who you follow, and are there any who you’ve noticed have influenced your style or maybe turned you on to any particular names?

I don’t know because I’m only a teen butmy favourite blogger on nameberry has to be [name]Kaitlin[/name] Greyer because without her I would never had found out about synesthesia and discovered that I wasn’t crazy. I also like reading all the comments at the bottom of her blog because I disagree with all the colours that people have put on and I like seeing what other people think. I think she should do some more blogs-maybe the significance of colour in baby naming. [name]Do[/name] different historical eras have different colour schemes for popular baby names? etc.

I have to admit that I frequent lots of name blogs all the time without having to subscribe to them, but my favourites would have to be Appellation Mountain and Waltzing More Than [name]Matilda[/name].

[name]Abby[/name] at Appellation Mountain may not have exactly influenced my style but by looking at the background behind names such as [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Susanna[/name] has made me appreciate the names more.

I like British [name]Baby[/name] Names a lot; I’ve known the author for years  she’s fantastic and we’ve always gotten along name-wise. [name]Even[/name] though my list has become less and less English, I love reading what she writes. She isn’t a mom-blogger though.
I have definitely noticed a lot of mom-blogger names pop up on here, especially [name]Reverie[/name] still. [name]Boheme[/name] faded out, but… yah. I don’t read mom blogs very often, but I can usually tell when a name has been used by someone in the mom blog community because I find that people are sheep when it comes to names, lol. I don’t mean that in a bad way.

[name]Lucia[/name], would you check out my blog please… link is posted just before your post.

I love [name]Rebecca[/name] [name]Woolf[/name]! Her kids full names are beautiful: [name]Archer[/name] [name]Sage[/name], [name]Fable[/name] [name]Luella[/name], [name]Reverie[/name] [name]Lux[/name], & [name]Boheme[/name] [name]Shalom[/name]. She did a post about baby names for sale that I thought was great (Girl's Gone Child: Baby Names for Sale, Never Used). As long as we are discussing Bloggerkids names we have to talk about Rubyellen’s blog Cakies because she named her four daughters [name]True[/name], Brave, Soul, & Glow. Glow is the baby and her full name is Glow Amorette, Amorette meaning “littlest love”. Cute! There is also the craftmaven [name]Katy[/name] at No Big Dill who has 6 children with great names. I love a large interesting sibset! [name]Katy[/name] has 5 daughters and 1 son. Her kids are [name]Divine[/name], [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Olive[/name], [name]Azure[/name], [name]Clover[/name], & newest little boy [name]Drummer[/name]. [name]One[/name] of my favorite nameberry posts on this topic : Nameberry 9: Are Blogbabies the New Name Trendsetters? | Nameberry.

I really like You Can’t Call It “It”! She doesn’t really blog about motherhood, but I love reading what she writes.

I love [name]James[/name] at Bleubird. She named her children [name]Julian[/name], [name]Milla[/name] [name]Plum[/name] and [name]Gemma[/name] [name]Bird[/name], I can’t wait to hear the name of her new baby boy. I also love [name]Melissa[/name] at Dear [name]Baby[/name], she has a daughter named [name]Everly[/name] [name]Veda[/name] and a son named [name]Arlo[/name] [name]Redding[/name].

We’ve gotten a comment about the number of times you have been asking people to join your website. I think now that it’s up there for all to see, you don’t need to address the invitation to all the berries.
Thanks.
