[name_u]Honest[/name_u] opinions on these names welcome not necessarily as a set…
I love the meanings of both - particularly Tindra… but I prefer the sound of [name_f]Bluma[/name_f]. [name_f]Tindra[/name_f] I find a little, well… tinny. But I want to like it more due to the gorgeous meaning.
I love [name_f]Bluma[/name_f] so much I think she is on my list for 15 years now. I also like the swedish Blomma.
[name_f]Tindra[/name_f] is also very lovely and I would love to meet little sisters [name_f]Bluma[/name_f] and [name_f]Tindra[/name_f]! It just reminds me a little bit on Tinder.
I think they’re beautiful! [name_f]Bluma[/name_f] is so elegant and flowery and blushing and [name_f]Tindra[/name_f] is wild, rugged, and carefree. It reminds me more of the word [name_f]Tundra[/name_f] than the word tin- hence the imagery I get. As sisters- they are both distinct, natural sounding names that sound cohesive because of the two syllable ending in -a.
I love [name_f]Tindra[/name_f] - so sparkly, magical and lovely I like the snappy, slightly sharp sound - and it gives me imagery of white, sparkling snow scenes
[name_f]Bluma[/name_f] is pretty - it’s floral and interesting
Soooo just sliding in here to say as a heads up that [name_f]Tindra[/name_f] makes me think of Tindr almost automatically. (Millienial, USA). So maybe not the greatest if you’re in an [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking context? or it might just be me
A name with a similar meaning to [name_f]Tindra[/name_f] is [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f].
[name_f]May[/name_f] I just say that I adore your taste in names? Now, onto my thoughts …
[name_f]Bluma[/name_f] is such a stunningly gorgeous name, it’s so deliciously mellifluous, yet short and sweet but striking all at once. I agree with a previous poster that it sounds very flowery! It’s a refreshing and whimsical choice that just perfectly encapsulates everything about springtime.
[name_f]Tindra[/name_f] is so vibrantly colorful and wintry. It reminds me of tinsel and the sound of [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] bells, the [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Borealis, and is a deep violet color to me and tastes like marzipan, but that is due to my own associations and synesthesia, haha. The meaning is just the cherry on top. You cannot go wrong with either of these names, but [name_f]Tindra[/name_f] takes the cake for me. I would love to see siblings named [name_f]Bluma[/name_f] and [name_f]Tindra[/name_f], I think they complement one another quite well.
Your thoughts are much appreciated! You have a way with words and I adore the imagery you’ve evoked for both names. I especially love what you’ve said about [name_f]Bluma[/name_f], and I agree. It’s very satisfying to say
