Our lovely little daughter [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] was born at 10:00pm on [name_m]New[/name_m] Years [name_f]Eve[/name_f], just squeaking in under the wire as a 2014 baby!

The name [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] has been my favourite for years. It’s strong but still feminine, and unique without being outlandish. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] was my husband’s favourite, but we ultimately decided to not use it as a first name as it will inevitably be shortened and we aren’t in love with any of its nicknames.

So far the name seems to suit our little one and we love it!
