Hello!
[name_m]Booker[/name_m] and [name_u]Brooks[/name_u].
Which name do you like better? How do you picture a [name_m]Booker[/name_m]? What image [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] evoke?
Thank you!
I love [name_m]Booker[/name_m]! [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] to me is still cute too but seems very trendy and evokes two images: either very country (I think of [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] & Dunn) or very preppy. [name_m]Booker[/name_m] is classic but uncommon. Everyone has heard of the name (Booker T. [name_m]Washington[/name_m] at least, but there are other famous Bookers as well) but it’s rarely actually used. It of course evokes images of someone who loves reading and learning, but I think the great part is that that can look different for everyone so there’s no specific image a [name_m]Booker[/name_m] has to try to live up to.
I prefer the cheerful but rugged [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]
I prefer Brooks, I’m sort of struggling to view Booker in a name-context. I probably could if I met one in real life, but as for now it’s just too word-y for me to think of as a name.
Brooks strikes me as very modern American, I’d think of a younger boy in trendy clothes. I like the sound!
I like [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]. I can’t picture a [name_m]Booker[/name_m]. When I imagine a [name_u]Brooks[/name_u], I picture a toddler in rain boots (which is interesting but it’s what I see lol).
I like both about the same. [name_m]Booker[/name_m] is cool but I might nn him Booger for fun
I prefer [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]!
[name_m]Booker[/name_m] reminds me of booking somebody into jail.
I prefer [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]. It has a very calming nature vibe.
I prefer [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]. [name_m]Booker[/name_m] is uncomfortably close to booger for me.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
I’m not a huge fan of either, but I also find them both to be perfectly fine names. [name_m]Just[/name_m] not my cup of tea. That being said, I do prefer [name_m]Booker[/name_m]. It’s just way less expected. [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] is getting pretty popular because of the golfer. I don’t care for when names get popular due to celebrities. It makes them feel trendy.
I see [name_m]Booker[/name_m] as sharp, witty, friendly, a little sarcastic. [name_m]Handsome[/name_m] & well put together, but w/a little charming chaos.
I see [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] as a little country club on an adult. But I can see a little boy [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] running though the woods & climbing trees. I guess it has two images for me.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
[name_u]Brooks[/name_u]!
[name_m]Booker[/name_m], makes think of the wrestler “Booker T” (which I didn’t care for at all) and Boogers…
Between the two I like [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] more, but prefer [name_u]Brook[/name_u] to both.
[name_m]Booker[/name_m] I immediately get the image of a bookkeeper, like an accountant basically. That’s followed by the Bioshock character [name_m]Booker[/name_m] DeWitt. These are neutral associations for me but also neither has be excited about the name.
[name_u]Brooks[/name_u] kinda gives me love interest in a teen romcom vibes- which is not necessarily a bad thing that’s just the vibe I get from it.
I like the nature meaning of [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]. [name_m]Booker[/name_m] doesn’t really sound name-y to me.
[name_u]Brooks[/name_u] is my favourite!
[name_u]Brooks[/name_u] is handsome with an outdoorsy vibe he feels bright and happy definitely my favourite from the two.
i like [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]!
[name_u]Brooks[/name_u]
I prefer [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]- I had a headteacher called Mr [name_m]Booker[/name_m] once so that’s all I think of when I hear that name
[name_m]Booker[/name_m]! I’m kind of over the preppy ends-with-s names for boys. [name_m]Booker[/name_m] feels fresh and smart and historical.
I prefer [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]. It makes me picture someone unique and modern. I think it also sounds very calming. Can’t picture an actual person named [name_m]Booker[/name_m], I don’t like it
