We chose her first name as an homage to my husband’s Scottish roots and our love of nature, the [name_f]Isle[/name_f] of [name_u]Skye[/name_u] is known for.
We chose her middle name ‘[name_f]Liv[/name_f]’ as representative of this time and place in our lives - an American family living in [name_u]Sweden[/name_u].
The word ‘[name_f]Liv[/name_f]’ means ‘life’ in Swedish.
