I prefer [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] over [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] only because [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is so popular. I like the sound of [name_m]Ryland[/name_m] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] better but I prefer [name_m]Ryland[/name_m] on a boy.

I really like your boy choices. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is classic and [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] is an adorable nn. [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] is more whimsical but fits with the surname trend and it’s well-established. I know a [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] who is stand-up man, so I have that bias.

Your girls choices are so different!!! I see this often, where boys get the more classic, traditional names and girls get the trendy ones. Why? I think I’d flip them - [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_m]Ryland[/name_m]. [name_m]Ryland[/name_m] is definitely more seen on boys these days, it’s a pretty popular choice right now where I am.

I too find your girls choice surprisingly different considering the classic and handsome options you have for boys. I like the pp suggestion of flipping [name_m]Ryland[/name_m] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] around. I think [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_m]Ryland[/name_m] would make a charming sibset.

I hate the name [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]/[name_u]Skylar[/name_u] with a passion I’m afraid so I can’t say I like that option.

I agree the girl names seem much “trendier/modern” than the boys, though spencer is pretty high on the trendy side. If i went with oliver, id probably try and find a more traditional girls name. Otherwise, id go with spencer
