Boy/Girl Name Help?

We decided not to find out the sex of our baby and we are so lost with names. We like girl names that are spunky sounding and boy names that are on the softer side.

I’m so stuck!! I have a few ideas but I flip back and forth all the time.

[name]Marcheline[/name] ([name]Marley[/name])
[name]Theresa[/name] ([name]Reese[/name])
[name]Nava[/name] (NAW-vuh)

Truitt ([name]Tru[/name])

From your girl names I really like [name]Theresa[/name], [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Nava[/name] - though for [name]Theresa[/name] I prefer the nickname [name]Tess[/name]. I also like [name]Jane[/name], [name]Wilhelmina[/name], [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Rae[/name]. From your boy names I really like [name]Noel[/name] and [name]Marshall[/name].

Have you thought of Parissa ([name]Par[/name]-rhys-a) for a girl (NN [name]Reese[/name]). I love it!
[name]Indigo[/name] ([name]Indie[/name])

Off of your list:

[name]Love[/name]: [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Jane[/name], [name]Rae[/name]
Like: [name]Theresa[/name] ([name]Reese[/name]), [name]Marcheline[/name] ([name]Marley[/name]), [name]Leighton[/name], [name]Wilhelmina[/name], [name]Nava[/name]
Dislike: [name]Carter[/name] (too boyish, but cute as a girl middle name), [name]Morley[/name], [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Simone[/name]

Like: [name]Cole[/name], [name]Ty[/name], [name]Stefan[/name], [name]Tommy[/name], [name]Noel[/name], [name]Jess[/name], [name]Dustin[/name]
Dislike: [name]Palmer[/name], Truitt ([name]Tru[/name]), [name]Marshall[/name]

Here are some thoughts:
Girls: [name]Bailey[/name], [name]Harlow[/name], [name]Indigo[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Zadie[/name]
Boys: [name]Wyatt[/name], [name]Emmett[/name], [name]Isaiah[/name], [name]Leo[/name], [name]Noah[/name]

[name]Marcheline[/name] ([name]Marley[/name]) - Full name is interesting, but the nn will have people always thinking she’s a boy.
[name]Theresa[/name] ([name]Reese[/name]) - Nice, and cute way to integrate a popular first name as a nn.
[name]Carter[/name] - boy’s name
[name]Morley[/name] - … strange. NMS.
[name]Hazel[/name] - pretty
[name]Jane[/name] - pretty, and underused as a modern name.
[name]Leighton[/name] - trendy, but ok. NMS, personally.
[name]Wilhelmina[/name] - classic, definitely. But hopefully a nn to go with it? [name]Willa[/name], [name]Mina[/name], [name]Elle[/name], etc.
[name]Nava[/name] (NAW-vuh) - Pretty, however she’ll probably be correcting the pronunciation all her life. Most people will pronounce it as “Nah-vah”.
[name]Rowan[/name] - Boy’s name
[name]Rae[/name] - Pretty twist on [name]Mae[/name].
[name]Simone[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name].

[name]Palmer[/name] - ok. I’m not big on surnames as first names for boys.
[name]Cole[/name] - Ok.
[name]Ty[/name] - NMS.
[name]Stefan[/name] - very nice.
[name]Tommy[/name] - Maybe [name]Thomas[/name] as a full name, and [name]Tommy[/name] as a nn? It’s hard to imagine an adult who has to go by [name]Tommy[/name].
Truitt ([name]Tru[/name]) - [name]Unique[/name] but not out there. Nice.
[name]Noel[/name] - [name]Noel[/name] Coward? I like it. [name]One[/name] of the more exceedingly interesting historical figures of the recent past in literature and theatre.
[name]Marshall[/name] - Nice.
[name]Jess[/name] - Dated. NMS.
[name]Dustin[/name] - ok.
