I think both names really compliment eachother–love them together!
I love [name]Asher[/name] I just really don’t like [name]Marian[/name]. It sounds too dated to me. I put it in the same class as names like [name]Lesley[/name]. I think something like [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Maren[/name] would be fantastic.
Oh, it is a story not real life, than I like it :). If I write I will use names I love but for whatever reason couldn’t use it in your life :).
I don’t know that they go well together. I like [name]Asher[/name], and it sounds quite modern. [name]Marian[/name] sounds very old fashioned and like it wouldn’t be matched with [name]Asher[/name]. [name]Marian[/name] and [name]Adam[/name]. or [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name].
The two names seem quite different in style, which would seem unrealistic in the story unless it’s futuristic or something. [name]Asher[/name] is quite modern while [name]Marian[/name] is somewhat dated.
I have a friend named [name]Marian[/name] who is in her early 30’s so it doesn’t sound dated to me and it goes well with [name]Asher[/name] imo.
