[name]Hi[/name]! I’m new to this site, and I am expecting boy/girl twins. We have decided on the boy name, which will be [name]Miles[/name]. I also have a son named [name]Henry[/name]. We are stuck on the girl name. Our list so far is,
You’ve got a lot of great names on your list. [name]Miles[/name] is adorable, as is [name]Henry[/name].
[name]Cora[/name] - I’m not a huge fan of this name. I feel like it lacks personality for some reason. I prefer [name]Coralie[/name] or [name]Coraline[/name]. With [name]Henry[/name] though, [name]Cora[/name] or [name]Coraline[/name] would work best, since the “ee” ending of both is a bit matchy.
[name]Penelope[/name] - I love this name. [name]Penny[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] are a bit close if you chose that nickname.
[name]Gemma[/name] - I actually really like this name. Very sweet and I think it fits perfectly with [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Miles[/name].
[name]Eliza[/name] - another great option.
[name]Cordelia[/name] - this is one of my all time favorites. The name is just so regal and pretty imo.
[name]Celia[/name] - I prefer [name]Cecilia[/name] or [name]Cecily[/name]. [name]Celia[/name] makes me think of Celiac’s disease, unfortunately. But it is a pretty name if that association isn’t made.
My favorites from your list would be [name]Cordelia[/name] and [name]Gemma[/name]. Also, [name]Cora[/name] could be a nickname for [name]Cordelia[/name] if you love both. Not sure if you’re looking for other suggestions but here are some other names you might like:
You are right about [name]Penny[/name] and [name]Henry[/name]. I wouldn’t really choose that nn, but I’m not sure I can avoid it. Thanks for the suggestions! A lot of those were on our long list. Maybe we should revisit them.
[name]Henry[/name] and [name]Miles[/name] are perfect! I like [name]Cora[/name] most with those names, but I, too, am not a huge fan of [name]Cora[/name]. It has a much harsher sound than I generally like in a girls’ name, and it honestly has a much harsher sound than either [name]Henry[/name] or [name]Miles[/name]. What about these?
I personally love the sets of [name]Henry[/name], [name]Miles[/name], and [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Henry[/name], [name]Miles[/name], and [name]Lucy[/name], and [name]Henry[/name], [name]Miles[/name], and [name]Sarah[/name]. [name]Sarah[/name] is my favorite - then each child would have a five letter name! Good luck!
[name]Do[/name] you like [name]Sosie[/name] or [name]Sadie[/name]? You could use [name]Susan[/name] or [name]Sarah[/name], respectively, and have a cute nickname!
I would choose [name]Penelope[/name] and nn her “[name]Pen[/name]”! [name]Love[/name] that nn and [name]Penelope[/name] is my fave with [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Miles[/name]. What a great family!
Oh, I love [name]Cora[/name] [name]Alice[/name] with [name]Miles[/name] [name]Adam[/name]! I also love [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Alice[/name], but I think my favorite combination is: [name]Henry[/name], [name]Miles[/name] and [name]Cora[/name]!
I absolutely adore [name]Gemma[/name] with [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Miles[/name]! It works stylistically and flows well. I feel like it ties the very classic [name]Henry[/name] and the more modern [name]Miles[/name] together wonderfully as well. [name]Penelope[/name] is pretty but seems too long compared to short and sweet [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Miles[/name]. [name]Cora[/name] feels harsh and abrupt to me but is wonderful as a nn for [name]Cordelia[/name], which I like with [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Miles[/name]. [name]Eliza[/name] and [name]Celia[/name] are beautiful as well, though I prefer [name]Cecelia[/name]. My second choice would be [name]Eliza[/name].
