[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! My husband and I are due with boy/girl twins in [name_f]February[/name_f]. We are having trouble coming up with names. We already have a 2 year old named [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and our last name is [name_m]Norman[/name_m]. Our names are [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] and [name_f]Nicole[/name_f].
My husband and his dad’s first names both start with R, so he really wants an R name for our little guy. The only boy R name on our list so far is [name_u]Reece[/name_u]. I like that name for a girl, but am a little iffy on it for a boy, because of [name_u]Reese[/name_u] Witherspoon (and I’m not a fan of [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]). Any other ideas for boy R names?
We really only have two girl names that we both like right now, [name_f]Paige[/name_f] and [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] (hubby vetoed [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]). I really didn’t want to do the common first initial for our twins, but I’m not sure [name_u]Reece[/name_u] and [name_f]Paige[/name_f] sound great together. Thoughts on [name_u]Reece[/name_u] and [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] vs. [name_u]Reece[/name_u] and [name_f]Paige[/name_f]?
Any ideas for middle names to go with any of these?
I love [name_u]Reece[/name_u] and [name_u]Reagan[/name_u]. [name_f]Paige[/name_f] is becoming a bit too popular for my liking and [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] is a good matching name with [name_u]Reece[/name_u] while not being too matchy like [name_u]Phil[/name_u] and [name_f]Lil[/name_f].
[name_u]Reagan[/name_u] is a very cute name! Other suggestions from me are:
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u]
[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f]
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Cara[/name_f]
[name_u]Avery[/name_u]
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
I think with your daughter’s middle name (which I must say is so adorable), I would just go with simple old fashioned middle names, just to kind of fit in I would say.
I wish you good luck with your childrens’ name and I’m sure they’ll be as adorable as can be!
These are nice for [name_f]February[/name_f] babies., [name_m]Roman[/name_m], [name_m]Rome[/name_m], [name_m]Redd[/name_m]!, [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Romeo[/name_m], Rubyn, [name_u]Ronny[/name_u],[name_m]Hart[/name_m],
I personally love [name_u]Reese[/name_u] and [name_u]Reagan[/name_u]. It roles of the tongue really well. [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] is also as super spunky name which I love, also not super popular. I also prefer the [name_u]Reese[/name_u] spelling. I don’t mind twins having the same initial, especially when they are boy and girl twins, I think it helps connect them further.
From what I’ve heard of twins, they’ll be lumped together enough as it is, matching initials or sounds should be avoided where possible.
Sounds like you’re working with [name_f]Paige[/name_f] and you need a new R name. [name_u]Reece[/name_u] is definitely unisex. So unless you can get over that, I’d just start fresh in the R section. Tons of great ideas already suggested. [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] seems close? Paige & Reeve.
I like that [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] & [name_f]Paige[/name_f] will share an i+e. So [name_u]Reid[/name_u] is perfect. Paige & Reid. Or Raleigh, love that name!
I’m sure I’m repeating but here are my faves, with middles (I think it would be sweet to have the kids share a middle initial…)
Reid Callum
Raleigh Christopher
Robby Clark
Rex Cameron
Rafferty Cole
RJ Calvin (seen a few boys lately named just these initials)
