Brenda/Brendan are the same name, but what about Bran/Brann? It’s [name_u]Irish[/name_u] and means raven.

Also there’s the Welsh [name_u]Bryn[/name_u], which means hill.

Here are some others that may work for you:

[name_m]Bryer[/name_m]
[name_m]Breccan[/name_m]
[name_m]Bram[/name_m] (Bramley, Bramwell)
[name_u]Brett[/name_u]
[name_m]Brodie[/name_m] / [name_u]Brody[/name_u] (also Scottish)
[name_m]Rembrandt[/name_m] :art:

Containing the ‘end’ in [name_f]Brenda[/name_f]:
[name_u]Hendrix[/name_u]
[name_m]Kendrick[/name_m]

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] contains all of the letters in [name_f]Brenda[/name_f] except the B. If this would count as a way of honouring for you, there are a lot of variations like [name_m]Anders[/name_m], [name_u]Anderson[/name_u], [name_m]Andreas[/name_m].

Another website suggests that [name_f]Brenda[/name_f] may come from Norse name Brandr, meaning ‘fire/torch’ in addition to ‘sword’ so that’s another meaning you could go for. Here’s a link so you can find some of those Names That Mean Fire | Nameberry
