My husband and I have a girls list pretty settled (for now) but not really any boy names. I had a heavy focus on girls because I generally don’t like any girl names and I’m not really sure where to start with the boys list.
So far I have [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Douglas[/name_u] and [name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], which are still completely up in the air.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] is a name I really like, but at #24-ish on the popularity list I’m hesitant to use it.
[name_u]Douglas[/name_u] would be for my husbands uncle
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] is a name we both like
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] was my great uncle
what do you think? I would also love some suggestions for more names. (please help?!)
I like several of those names, but I hate that they would go by a nn. (that’s actually the only reason [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] isn’t on the list. maybe as a middle name…) I like [name_m]Cole[/name_m], [name_m]Grant[/name_m], and [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]; not sure how the husband feels yet.
[name_m]Dax[/name_m] sounds super cool, but also feels incomplete. I don’t know why it feels that way, but I will keep in mind for characters I might have.
I love [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_u]Dean[/name_u] and [name_u]Beau[/name_u] that was someone elses suggestion (my husband wont let me use it unfortunately). However I dislike how popular [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is and think [name_u]Dean[/name_u] is equally as nice if nit nicer. I would use it in a heartbeat myself if we did not have a family member already with the name!
