Hello All!
We are expecting a baby boy very soon and we were quite set on the name [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. However it seems that it is becoming more and more popular. My husband and I both prefer names that are not so common. All that being said we recently thought of the name [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] however, I am wondering how it sounds with our family name “Wagstaff”. I find [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] Wagstaff actually sounds like a superhero name lol. Middle name will be “[name_m]Harry[/name_m]”.
What do you think? Any other name suggestions are welcome!
Thanks and take care!
I think [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] Wagstaff is fine, they only share the beginning W; [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] Wentworth or [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]Weston[/name_m] would be too similar imo.

[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] Wagstaff sounds fine. I love the alliteration with your quirky surname. Makes him sound like a Dickens character.
Hm, I’m not a fan of the alliteration in [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] Wagstaff. I’m usually fine with alliteration, but as @southern.maple said, your surname is “quirky” and I do think that plus alliteration runs the risk of sounding a little comical.
I think [name_u]Theo[/name_u] Wagstaff is much more handsome. You’re right that [name_u]Theo[/name_u] is becoming more popular, but I think it still retains a quirky, off-beat vibe and it’s unlikely that you will meet a ton of other Theos. [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_m]Harry[/name_m] Wagstaff would be a wonderful name!
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] is so nice
