I really prefer [name_m]Donovan[/name_m], although I’m not overly fond of the nn [name_u]Van[/name_u].

Of the two I think I prefer [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]; it has this interesting darkly-mysterious-Celtic vibe. I think my issue with [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] is mostly the [name_u]Marlin[/name_u]/Finding [name_m]Nemo[/name_m] association that pops in my head when I say it, because I generally really like names with the “mar” beginning i.e. [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], [name_f]Margo[/name_f], etc.
