I have a main top 3 boy names that I currently love, but they are unusual enough that I am curious what others think of them. I am a horticulturist and love botanical names (I used [name_f]Violet[/name_f] before I ever heard of any Violets out there!), but I want to be extra sure to get it right with a boy. Also, I want the sound of the name to flow well with the other kids.
My favourite on your is [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] and I also would like [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]. I personally don’t really care for [name_u]Linden[/name_u] or [name_f]Indi[/name_f] as to me they sound unisex.
I definitely like [name_u]Linden[/name_u] best for you.
[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] seems stylistically too different from the others. [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] is too matchy with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] & [name_f]Indi[/name_f] doesn’t feel like it fits with your sibset.
[name_u]Linden[/name_u] gets my vote. I think it goes the best with the rest of the siblings. I like [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] / [name_f]Indi[/name_f] and [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] but they seem too out there compared to the rest of your names.
Thanks for all your comments! I am interested to get such a variety of thoughtful impressions for each different name. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though each name was favored by a different commentator, I am feeling like the stream of comments has helped. Each name is significantly different though, so I am still not quite there with the decision.
I like [name_u]Linden[/name_u] the best. [name_u]Linden[/name_u] is awesome. I like [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] as well, but think it is very different stylistically from your other kids’ names.
I love the names [name_u]Linden[/name_u] and [name_u]Indigo[/name_u]. I’m not sure about [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] though. That ones seems more out there to me.
