We don’t have any children yet, but I’m always pestering my husband with name ideas. He’s usually pretty good at giving me an opinion, but he’s not one to think of any names on his own.
Our favorites so far are: [name_m]Cormac[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], and [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is my husband’s name. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] would come from his middle name, [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] honors a future godmother in our family. We’ve also thrown around [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] (which I’m liking more and more and [name_m]William[/name_m] honors a late grandfather), and [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] was a contender for a while but has recently fallen out of favor with us…We may also do [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_u]Skye[/name_u]. [name_u]Skye[/name_u] was a a close friend’s name that passed away.
I’ve always liked having 2 favorite boy and girl names, and I’m curious as to what you all think would be another boy name that could go with our favorites so far. Or if you think [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] fits well. Neither of us like popular names, as we both grew up with VERY popular names. Irish & Scottish names, as well as a surname here and there are usually what we’re drawn to. You can steal our last name from my user name, if that’s at all helpful
