I love [name]Benjamin[/name] as my top boy name followed by [name]Samuel[/name], [name]Cole[/name], [name]Jack[/name], [name]Luke[/name]. My fear is that these are pretty trendy and when my child gets to school, there will be multiple names in the class. I’m a teacher and already have 2 [name]Jacob[/name]'s, 2 [name]Max[/name]'s, 2 Michaels, and 2 [name]Leo[/name]'s in our K classes.
Any other ideas that aren’t too unusual, not too trendy (at least not in top 20) but sweet/masculine at the same time?
I’ll nominate my son’s name - [name]James[/name] (nn [name]Jay[/name]). He likes it and has always been the only [name]Jay[/name] in his classes.
Expecting twin boys in [name]April[/name], tentatively decided on [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Charles[/name] & [name]Edward[/name] [name]Andrew[/name] (nn [name]Drew[/name]). I expect we’ll see more Olivers than Jays or Drews.
I do like [name]James[/name], but it’s the name of my husbands good friend and co-worker and he finds it a little strange. He did like [name]Bennett[/name] better than [name]Benjamin[/name] and I like both.
Keep the suggestions coming! I appreciate your thoughts!
Or another alternative to [name]Benjamin[/name] is [name]Benson[/name]. I am due in 7 wks and I find boy names really hard. I do like B boy names though. We like [name]Bowen[/name] ([name]Bo[/name]) or we may spell it [name]Bohan[/name].
