Ok long story short we had a girl name all ready to go and baby number 4 is a boy and we are struggling lol
We have [name_f]Lola[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_u]Wade[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and [name_m]Ford[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. We use family names
Current dilemmas:
[name_m]Mack[/name_m]: we love [name_m]Mack[/name_m] but husbands name is [name_m]Zach[/name_m] worried too much in one house
[name_m]Cormac[/name_m]: husbands favorite but so many people seem to pronounce it [name_m]Cormick[/name_m] not [name_m]Cormac[/name_m] and we don’t want him to spend his life telling people how he pronounces his name
[name_m]Wells[/name_m]: love it but worried about two of 3 boys having a “W” name and one not
[name_m]Hayes[/name_m]: love it but worry about it sounding like [name_m]Haze[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]
[name_m]Callan[/name_m]: my personal favorite hubby worries people may say “Call-in” instead of [name_u]Cal[/name_u]-[name_f]Lin[/name_f]
We are struggling… bad lol I don’t like names that are in the top 100 we seem to go for short and to the point “older” feeling names and needs to have a family connection
I really like [name_m]Mack[/name_m] and i think you could probably get away with using it with [name_m]Zach[/name_m]. It matches your other kids names well
[name_m]Maddox[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Mack[/name_m]’ and [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Mack[/name_m]’ came to mind
[name_m]Cormac[/name_m] is brilliant! I’ve never heard it pronounced [name_m]Cormick[/name_m].
[name_m]Cedric[/name_m], [name_m]Conrad[/name_m] and [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Mack[/name_m]’ came to mind
[name_m]Wells[/name_m] is interesting. I quite like it. As for the shared initials, [name_f]Lola[/name_f] doesn’t begin with W so it doesnt feel like a pattern

My favourite on your list is [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]. It is a well known surname so I can’t imagine anyone thinking that you named your child [name_m]Haze[/name_m], and if anyone asks, it is easy to clarify the spelling so if it the one you love the most, I wouldn’t hesitate using it. Thanks! Our two year old, [name_m]Ford[/name_m], is 100% sure [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] is the right name lol he keeps saying “[name_m]Hayes[/name_m] be my brothers name” lol so we will definitely have quite an upset little one if we don’t choose [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] lol
