What do you guys think of the name [name_u]Rafe[/name_u]. I think it sounds modern and unique, but because of its association with the name [name_m]Ralph[/name_m] it makes me think that some may see it as being older and not quite my style for a young boy. We are thinking about [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] [name_m]Abram[/name_m]. What do you think? Thanks!
I was just thinking about this name the other day, and learned that it was similar to [name_m]Ralph[/name_m]. I never would have guessed. So my opinion is that it is a gorgeous name [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] [name_m]Abram[/name_m] is a stunning combo!
Oo I love [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] [name_m]Abram[/name_m]. [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] sounds rakish and dashing to me! [name_m]Abram[/name_m] is pretty and gentle.
[name_u]Rafe[/name_u] is a favorite of mine it was popular in the 17th century but it seems fresh. I do get what you mean about the ralph association people might get and oldish feel from it. That’s why I would not combine it with a name similar old feel like [name_m]Abram[/name_m], which to me feels old. I’d go with something like [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m], [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] [name_m]Ephraim[/name_m], [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] [name_m]Abel[/name_m] etc.
