what do you think of the first name of Stark. I realize its the last name of Iron man (tony stark) and also from games of thrones. But I really like it as a first name. what are your thoughts. thanks

I love love love GoT but Stark doesn’t sound like a first name to me. It’s rather harsh sounding, [name]IMO[/name].
The first thing I thought of was “stark naked” unfortunately, and aside from that it’s too harsh for my ears.
I just think of [name]Tony[/name] Stark and the nerd in me loves it.
Stark naked is the first thing that came to my head. Also stalk. It just doesn’t seem like a first name to me.
I don’t think Stark is a good name. It is already getting negative responses. Name is an identity of a person. Choose a unique name as it will be for lifelong.
I would use it as a middle only
The two phrases that come to mind are ‘stark naked’ & ‘stark raving mad’…both phrases might not be a big part of the average young person’s vocab so in that way it doesn’t really matter but I’m 28 & that was my first thought.
“stark naked” didn’t really enter my mind, but it would be a deal-breaker for me! My first thought was [name]Julian[/name] Stark, the bad guy from Alias (or was he [name]Julian[/name] Sark?). It’s a bit similar to stork, too, so I think there could be additional teasing there.
it sounds too, well, stark to me. kind of harsh-sounding, kind of stiff and plain…not sure the best way to describe my reaction to it. i also know it as a surname, which adds to my sense of it not working as a FN.

I agree that it sounds harsh, maybe because one definition of stark is harsh! I don’t care for word names generally.
I don’t hate it but I’m definitely not a fan.
