Any suggestions? We are Italian-Americans from New Jersey so American names can obviously be suggested. There aren’t many Italian names that I like…besides Luca
My husband’s name is Vincent but I don’t want my child to be a Jr.
I have always liked the name Joseph but that’s his uncle’s name.
Almost agreed on the name Cameron until we discovered we hate the meaning. It means ‘crooked nose’.
I think [name_u]Luca[/name_u] is okay, but I would go by something else with more spark and rarer.
Anyways, I don’t think that you necessarily have to use Italian or American names (also because I don’t think such as “American names” exist, if you don’t consider the new invented names; they just have more usage in US than in other [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking countries)
So I will recommend just some random names with good meaning, if it can help.
Below are some suggestions:
[name_m]Dario[/name_m]
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_m]Aaron[/name_m]
[name_m]Raphael[/name_m] (The meaning is nice, if you are religious)
Leo(n)
[name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] (The meaning is nice, if you are religious)
[name_u]Nolan[/name_u]
[name_m]Alessio[/name_m] // [name_u]Alexis[/name_u]
[name_m]Maxim[/name_m]
[name_m]Alistair[/name_m] // [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m]
[name_u]Edward[/name_u]
[name_m]Otto[/name_m]
[name_u]Francis[/name_u] // [name_m]Franco[/name_m] // [name_m]Francesco[/name_m]
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m]
[name_m]Aurelio[/name_m]
Valentin(o)
I reckon choose something that reflects a bit of your heritage. [name_u]Luca[/name_u] is really nice. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], you could consider it for the middle name, otherwise [name_u]Joseph[/name_u] for the middle perhaps. Other suggestions:
[name_u]Adrian[/name_u]
[name_m]Anthony[/name_m]
[name_m]Dominic[/name_m]
Francis/Frank
[name_m]Mark[/name_m]
[name_u]Leo[/name_u] or [name_m]Marco[/name_m] if don’t mind the two O endings
