Boy name to go with Molly and Lucy

My daughters’ names are [name]Molly[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] (5) and [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Claire[/name] (3). I’m not expecting, but I can’t think of a boy name to go with them. My husband wants one more baby, and this could be a problem if we decide to have one more.

First of all, [name]Molly[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name], how adorable! I think you have tons of options to go with these, here are some I like, but you should check out the Classic [name]Baby[/name] Names list ([name]Lucy[/name] is on it).

Your daughters have lovely names.
If you were to have a son, then I would avoid names ending in ‘ee/y/ie’ eg [name]Freddie[/name], [name]Rory[/name] etc. - that would be a little repetitive.
[name]Molly[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] and…

Thank you for your suggestions. I like [name]Owen[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], [name]Simon[/name], [name]Benjamin/name and [name]Charles/name, but my absolute favorite is [name]Alfie[/name]. I know I was advised to stay away from names ending in the ee sound, but would it really be all that awful if I had [name]Molly[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], and [name]Alfie[/name], [name]Charlie[/name], or [name]Benji[/name]?

It wouldn’t be awful, as long as [name]Alfie[/name] was [name]Alfred[/name], [name]Charlie[/name] was [name]Charles[/name] in full or [name]Benji[/name] was [name]Benjamin[/name], in full. I think that would be a smoother choice. [name]Molly[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] & [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Molly[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] & [name]Charles[/name] or [name]Molly[/name] [name]Lucy[/name] & [name]Alfred[/name] would be wonderful!

You’re right, it is a lot smoother. I still like [name]Alfred/name, [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Simon[/name], and [name]Owen[/name]. [name]Charles[/name], in it’s full, is just not for me.

[name]Molly[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name] are lovely. I’d go with something short and classic. I actually think a nickname name would go well with [name]Molly[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name] but nothing cutesy. I’d go with [name]Sam[/name], [name]Max[/name], [name]Jack[/name] or [name]Henry[/name].

What about [name]Molly[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Gus[/name]?

[name]Henry[/name], with a family name in the middle.
It seems like a perfect fit for [name]Molly[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name].
