Boy name you like but would never use

Hey berries, what is one boy name you love but for whatever reason, you would never use. (For example, it’s too popular, it doesn’t match your other names, it’s a little far fetch) The name I would choose is [name_m]Baltazar[/name_m].

[name_u]Indigo[/name_u]. I absolutely love the name, but I personally don’t know if I could actually use it since it’s such a huge mismatch with my other top favorites.

[name_m]Uriah[/name_m]! I think it’s so cool and handsome but I worry about the teasing potential with the similarity to urine and the negative character association with [name_m]Uriah[/name_m] Heep.

[name_u]Robin[/name_u]! :sob:
Would probably be in my top 3 boys list, but I have an aunt called [name_u]Robin[/name_u] and I don’t necessarily wish to “honor” her. I won’t say never, but I highly doubt I’d use it

Unfortunately for me, [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] would not go well with my surname.

Santiago and Benjamin because both of these names are extremelly popular where I live, but that set would be delightful

[name_m]Kingston[/name_m] is a good name, but is getting more common (at least on nameberry which I assume eventually translates to real life. So I will not use it

I like that one. [name_f]Kinda[/name_f] reminds me off the sandwich.

Honestly probably [name_m]Balthasar[/name_m] as well.

I have a ton. [name_f]My[/name_f] SO’s siblings’ kids’ names all start with C or K and we do not want to keep the “tradition” going, since it’s super confusing when they’re all together and we want our kids to feel like their own person. Unfortunately C and K seem to be the letters we are most drawn to when it comes to names. Of course! [name_u]Coast[/name_u], [name_u]Cove[/name_u], [name_u]Calder[/name_u], [name_m]Canon[/name_m], [name_m]Crew[/name_m], [name_u]Cadence[/name_u], [name_u]Cooper[/name_u] - and the list goes on… all names I love but sadly cannot use.
Also we’re not a huge fan of alliterative names, and L (initial of last name) seems to be another letter we’re especially drawn to. [name_u]Lyric[/name_u], [name_u]Lux[/name_u], [name_u]Larkin[/name_u], [name_u]Lake[/name_u], [name_m]Ledger[/name_m] - all sadly crossed off my list.

I love the name [name_m]Uriah[/name_m]. I think it’s so precious.

[name_f]My[/name_f] aunt is named [name_u]Robin[/name_u] too.

I love wilder but I can’t come up with any names I like that go with it.

Never meet a [name_m]Santiago[/name_m] but I have meet a ton of Benjamins.

I love [name_m]Kingston[/name_m]. I think the popularity is a regional thing. Like it depends on the area you live.

Same in my family me an my brother grew up with the same initials. Pmw. [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] and my brothers is [name_u]Parker[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] step sister is the only one of use without a P name.

I really like the clunkiness of [name_m]Humphrey[/name_m]. But it feels like an undue burden to give a boy a name that shortens to Hump, even if it’s pronounced Hum-free. :woman_shrugging:t2:
