We have a baby boy on the way and are struggling with the name. We already have a girl named [name]Hadley[/name]. We are thinking about the names [name]Garrett[/name], [name]Brady[/name], or [name]Hayden[/name]. Thanks.
Congrats on having a baby boy on the way! Of the three, I like [name]Hayden[/name] the most. Have you decided on any middle names?
I also like [name]Hadley[/name] and [name]Hayden[/name] together! Congrats!
I love the name [name]Hadley[/name] btw!
I would choose [name]Garrett[/name]. It seems to have same feel as [name]Hadley[/name]. I also like [name]Brady[/name], but I don’t love it. I agree with pp that [name]Hadley[/name] and [name]Hayden[/name] sound great together. I wouldn’t go with [name]Hayden[/name] myself though, because it gets lumped in with all the other [name]Aiden[/name] names.
I also like [name]Garrick[/name] and [name]Gareth[/name]. Maybe even [name]Grady[/name]?
I think [name]Hayden[/name] and [name]Hadley[/name] are a little bit cutesy together (too similar). I think [name]Garrett[/name] and [name]Hadley[/name] sound great together though.
I think [name]Hayden[/name] and [name]Brady[/name] are too close to [name]Hadley[/name]. That leaves [name]Garrett[/name], which I personally find too close to the words garret (an attic room, or a romantically shabby hovel) and garotte (a wire used for strangling- yikes!)
I second [name]Kitty[/name]'s suggestion of [name]Gareth[/name]. Also:
[name]Gawain[/name] (I like the old pronunciation “GOW-en”)
[name]Gerald[/name]
[name]Everett[/name] (or [name]Everard[/name])
I agree that [name]Hayden[/name] is too close to [name]Hadley[/name], and looking at the sibling combo I would wonder if they were two girls or two boys, because both names are unisex. So I would go for a name that is all boy. [name]Garrett[/name] is not my style personally, but I think it’s the best from your list. I like the suggestion of [name]Everett[/name].
[name]Garrett[/name] would be my pick to go with [name]Hadley[/name].
