Hey guys

So I am pregnant with our 3rd son and we finally picked I name I think. The full name would be [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Alan[/name_m] [name_m]Thompson[/name_m]. Someone pointed out that his initials would be CAT. Would that be a big deal for a boy? This name means a lot to me and I’m excited about it. [name_m]Just[/name_m] need your thoughts thanks!

I don’t think that it’s an issue at all.

I don’t think it would be a problem. There certainly are much worse. Most of the time, the MN name is not used on a daily basis. Also, if you do monograms, it would be c T a so it wouldn’t be as noticeable in that case.

If the name has that much meaning to you, go for it.

I think it’s perfectly fine! If it were a less appealing word or acronym, I could see it being an issue, but CAT is one I definitely don’t see as negative at all. :slight_smile:

I don’t think CAT are bad initials at all. [name_f]My[/name_f] initials spell out something and no one has ever noticed.

The initials wouldn’t bother me at all.

I think it’s fine.
For me, the only time initials are an issue would be if it spells out something like FAT or SOS.

Are you serious?? I wouldn’t worry at all. CAT is also the name of a company that makes construction equipment. Google [name_f]Cat[/name_f].com

[name_f]Imagine[/name_f] your son would have dump trucks and bulldozer toys with his initials on it what kid wouldn’t be thrilled

I have initials that spell a cutesy word. It’s fine. Entertaining for my friends - have a few nicknames off it, but that’s only because I leant into it, otherwise they would never have known.

Not an issue at all.
I have an ATM! Plus cats are nice so it’s all good.
