[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! Looking for advice as we struggle with boy names and just found out we’re having twin boys
Our last name is long and difficult to pronounce, so we like easy/recognizable first names, and then we like to pair it with a “fun”/adventurous middle name. I really like boy names that feel friendly or warm, if that makes sense.
Our first two sons are:
[name_u]William[/name_u] [name_u]Indiana[/name_u]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_u]Maverick[/name_u]
They go by [name_u]Will[/name_u] and [name_u]Tommy[/name_u]. To me they just sound like “nice guy” names.
There are LOTS of boys in our family so a lot of the names we would consider are taken.
Right now the only names we agree on are [name_m]Luke[/name_m] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband also really likes [name_u]John[/name_u] but I just don’t love it. He has also suggested [name_u]Danger[/name_u] as a middle but I can’t wrap my head around it.

Could you tell us what names are off limits so you don’t have to weed through what you can’t use? I think the names you like are definite options though I will say, [name_u]Danger[/name_u] feels like a bit of a stretch for me
I like [name_m]Luke[/name_m], and [name_m]Lukas[/name_m].
Maybe you could use danger as a nickname?

I really love [name_u]John[/name_u] he’s so dependable and classic however if you don’t love the name I would take him off your list. [name_m]Luke[/name_m] is handsome I also love [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] & [name_u]Luca[/name_u]. [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is fab but feels rather different from [name_u]William[/name_u] and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].
Concerning [name_u]Danger[/name_u] it’s really not my favourite I find it a bit much I too struggle to wrap my head around the name. Maybe [name_m]Ransom[/name_m] could work? I think [name_m]Ransom[/name_m] feels ‘daring’ like [name_u]Danger[/name_u] but not so bold.
You’ve had lots of fabulous suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries

[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] and [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] would be so great with [name_u]William[/name_u] and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Luke[/name_m] too. I don’t mind [name_u]Danger[/name_u], though [name_u]Valor[/name_u] is preferable.

Luke seems like a great fit with Thomas and William. Lucas would fit nicely as well. I really like John too, it’s quite refreshing to hear nowadays. A “nice guy” brother for Luke:
