Hi guys, I’m having a baby boy. My husband and I are both fans of Kelly Clarkson. So if we had a girl, it’d be Hazel (for “Behind These Hazel Eyes”). But it’s a boy, and his name will likely be Hayes.
But seeing you guys have such wonderful naming ideas, I would like to ask for something else to consider just in case the perfect name is still out there (or save it for another child)
I’m always fascinated by things that swing and make sounds like chimes, bells, etc. Yeah, I know they can be creepy or irritating sometimes LOL
But I’m thinking of the calming wind chimes, the ethereal church bells for weddings or Christmas, etc.
So do you guys happen to know any boy name that gives off that kind of sound / imagery / essence?
All positive associations are welcome. Thank you, guys!!! Have a wonderful day!!!
[name_u]Blaine[/name_u] and [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] immediately sprang to mind. I don’t know exactly why, but I just feel these when I think of chimes or bells.
I love [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] for a boy. Not only does it have “bell” in it, but it has a lovely musical rhythm and also a great meaning “good/beautiful friend”.
I think it’s worth having a boys’ name or two up your sleeve, esp with Hazel and Hayes being so similar? Might be tricky if you have Hazel, Hayes and Greg for eg.
Names that chime:

I just had a discussion with my husband. We both really like the flow of [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u]. It also feels like the literal wind that swings chimes and bells I didn’t expect to find something that goes so well with our original name!!!
[name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] (name of the [name_u]Angel[/name_u] from it’s a wonderful life) -“every time a bell rings, an [name_u]Angel[/name_u] gets his wings.”
[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought is [name_u]River[/name_u] or [name_u]Rio[/name_u] or [name_u]Ocean[/name_u]- this is more for the wind chimes, not the bells. Other names that spring to mind:
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
[name_m]Nakoa[/name_m]
[name_m]Westley[/name_m]
[name_m]Hawkins[/name_m]
[name_u]Kingston[/name_u]
[name_m]Deacon[/name_m]
[name_u]Archer[/name_u]
That angel’s name was [name_u]Clarence[/name_u]. Definitely an option! But like others on here, I really like [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] [name_u]Winslow[/name_u].
