Our last name is [name]MacLean[/name], and we were hoping to find names with the long a sound ([name]Braden[/name]), but that don’t rhyme with [name]MacLean[/name] (e.g., [name]Wayne[/name]). Any ideas out there?
Not sure of your tastes, so I pretty much listed everything I could think of. I think my favorites are [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Isaiah[/name], [name]Nathan[/name] and [name]Rafe[/name] (could also be short for [name]Raphael[/name]?). Here you go:
Note that [name]Basil[/name] may have a long A in [name]Britain[/name], but at least in [name]Canada[/name] and I think in the US as well, the spice and the name are said with a short A.
