Boy names with this criteria!

My friend is expecting! We don’t know the gender yet (too soon). We’ve compiled a pretty good list of girl names but are struggling with boy names!

Some things that are important to her with the names:

  1. She is [name_u]Christian[/name_u] and likes Biblical or angel names.

  2. Her top choice of name origin is Irish, [name_f]English[/name_f], [name_m]German[/name_m], Danish, or Hebrew. She is also open to Native American and Spanish origins (she is part of these cultures, but is more interested in honoring the father’s Irish culture).

  3. She would like the meaning to be associated with strength or the ocean/water.

  4. The name must not start with R or Sh.

  5. She would prefer a name not in the top 100 in the US.

So far she likes:

Conell - Irish “strong as a wolf”
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] - Hebrew “strong and firm”
[name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] - Hebrew “God is my strength”

What about [name_m]Brendan[/name_m]?

From Brendanus , the Latinized form of the Irish name Bréanainn , which was derived from a Welsh word meaning “prince”. Saint [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] was a 6th-century Irish abbot who, according to legend, crossed the Atlantic and reached [name_u]North[/name_u] [name_u]America[/name_u] with 17 other monks.
