I am expecting my first baby BOY in 5 or less weeks. I am having the most difficult time with names and could use ALL the recommendations.
Firstly his last name will be [name_m]Le[/name_m], either pronounced as “[name_m]Lay[/name_m]” or “[name_u]Lee[/name_u],” so I’m trying to find a name that flows well both ways for the purpose of pronunciation.
Second- his great grandma whom he will never get to meet as she passed away, was very dear to me. Her middle name was [name_u]Lynn[/name_u], I would like to someway incorporate that into his name. Some ideas I’ve come to are [name_m]Glynn[/name_m], or Lynnox. I feel I’d want either of them as his middle name.
Thanks in advance. ALL recommendations are so so helpful to me so please, COMMENT away!!
Nameberry has quite a list on boy names containing [name_u]Lyn[/name_u]/ [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] in them. Some Ingrabbed as winners are… [name_m]Franklyn[/name_m], [name_m]Zebulyn[/name_m], [name_m]Hamlyn[/name_m], [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] (could be a middle), [name_m]Olynn[/name_m], [name_m]Nolyn[/name_m], [name_m]Lynwood[/name_m], Loclyn, [name_m]Lyndon[/name_m], [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], [name_m]Colyn[/name_m], [name_m]Declyn[/name_m]
I will say before searching [name_m]Glynn[/name_m] came to mind before even reading your idea of it!
Whilst I’m not a massive fan of it, I’d definitely go for [name_m]Glynn[/name_m] over Lynnox, which looks a bit messy/made up. I love the suggestions of [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] or [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u] though considering they mean ‘lake’ (or something very similar).
