Oldest 2 are Jemima Milly and Alban George. We don’t know if it’s a boy or girl. Which boy name do you like best with our other two? We try to avoid trendy names and choose biblical or saint names.
Here’s our top contenders:
Magnus
Cormac
Leo
Felix
Caedmon
We also like saint names. We’d like all our kids to have a Name [name_u]Day[/name_u] to celebrate.
[name_f]My[/name_f] first is [name_m]Casper[/name_m]. (Saint [name_m]Caspar[/name_m] was one of the three wise men who brought gifts to Jesus). Other boy saint names on our list are [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_m]Lucian[/name_m], [name_m]Leopold[/name_m], [name_m]Jerome[/name_m], [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m].
Girl names we like are [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] (there was a [name_m]Saint[/name_m] [name_f]Serafina[/name_f] spelled like that), [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], and [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]. [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] wasn’t a saint but we’d use [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] which means [name_f]Heavenly[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] in [name_u]French[/name_u].
Yeah we’d be sold on [name_m]Leo[/name_m] if it wasn’t so trendy. Now the question is if it’s personal significance to us will override our desire to not be trendy. It’s my grandpas middle name. His grandpas brothers name AND a saint name.
Oh! Please use [name_m]Caedmon[/name_m]! It’s on my longlist (admittedly as a middle.)
Runners-up from your list would be [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] and [name_m]Cormac[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] or [name_m]Cormac[/name_m] for you guys. I feel like they work really well with your other kids too. [name_m]Felix[/name_m] works but is more popular than the [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] and [name_m]Alban[/name_m] so doesn’t quite fit. Same with [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. I don’t think [name_m]Caedmon[/name_m] works with siblings.
[name_m]Cormac[/name_m] would be so stunning with your other two! I know a little [name_m]Cormac[/name_m] nn [name_m]Mac[/name_m] and he wears it so well
Cad-mon. The [name_f]English[/name_f] professor teaching the language class I was watching when I discovered the name (in his lecture mentioning Caedmon’s Hymn) pronounced it that way.
