Hello everyone – reached a brick wall with the names for our third boy.
Our surname is [name_u]LEE[/name_u] which tends to cause problems, for example I like [name_u]Kai[/name_u] but you can’t call a boy [name_u]Kai[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]
Also some times a name like [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] looks more like a surname than the actual surname - which might be confusing,
His Brothers will be
[name_m]Brandon[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] (mn after grandad)
[name_u]Blake[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] (mn after other grandad)
I would really like people opinion, as my shortlist is completely different from my husbands - any here is the combined shortlist
With [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] and [name_u]Blake[/name_u], I would imagine another “B” name that doesn’t begin with Br or Bl. I don’t believe that siblings have to share the same initial but for me once you start it seems a bit awkward to stop.
I think [name_u]Bennett[/name_u], [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] or [name_m]Beckett[/name_m] will work.
From your list I like the sound of…
[name_m]Brandon[/name_m], [name_u]Blake[/name_u] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u]
[name_m]Brandon[/name_m], [name_u]Blake[/name_u] and [name_u]Shane[/name_u]
Out of your list I like:
[name_m]Brandon[/name_m], [name_u]Blake[/name_u] and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]
[name_m]Brandon[/name_m], [name_u]Blake[/name_u] and [name_u]Shane[/name_u]
[name_m]Brandon[/name_m], [name_u]Blake[/name_u] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u]
I also agree with the “B” thing. I am not a fan of siblings sharing the same initials or think it’s necessary, but I presume you are speaking of triplets in which case it’s a little odd to me that two have a B first name and the third won’t. It’s not a tragedy by any means, but it’s a little awkward nonetheless.
The names [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] and [name_u]Blake[/name_u] are cool, but kind of give me a sporty 90’s feel. I think [name_u]Shane[/name_u] fits with them the best. I also like the suggestion of [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. It’s a classic, masculine name. I can’t help but love it. [name_m]Ben[/name_m] or [name_m]Benji[/name_m] are great nicknames.
To clarify - [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] is 8 and [name_u]Blake[/name_u] is 3, we aren’t following a B theme it just kind of happened like that. However a B name is no issue either
Yes, [name_u]Lee[/name_u] is hard to name with! I don’t think [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] or [name_m]Leon[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] or [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] flows well at all so I would take those off. [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] just reminds me of [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] [name_u]Curtis[/name_u]…
From your list I would choose [name_u]Shane[/name_u], [name_m]Jett[/name_m] or [name_m]Elijah[/name_m].
I do agree with other though and would pick a B name. There are so many good ones!
I like [name_m]Jett[/name_m], but I was worried about the movie tie in - jet li. Especially with [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] already.
Also my brother is called [name_u]Shane[/name_u], but always liked to name. So unsure
I totally disagree with everyone about choosing another B name. Nobody cares–especially boys. They are boys, and as such they aren’t going to spend more than twenty minutes total of their whole lives thinking about their names. Unless they are named something really, really cool like Spiderman. Therefore, name this next one what you like most whether that be a “B” name or not.
[name_f]My[/name_f] personal favorite from your list is [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] because the rest were harder to say ([name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]), or they sounded like ninjas ([name_m]Jett[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]). Now, your son might think it is awesome to sound like a ninja, but I wouldn’t go that direction myself.
