Boy or girl name?

[name_u]Peyton[/name_u]- do u love it as a boy or girl name? We have a [name_m]Graysen[/name_m] and [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] at home. Both boys.

I know a girl by this name, but I think it’s very masculine regardless. If I had to use it I’d put it on a boy.

I know it’s more popular for girls, but I really prefer it for a boy. It’s my (male) fiancé’s name, so I’m only a little biased.

tbh it made me think of a little girl at first

It’s masculine to me, even more so with brothers [name_m]Graysen[/name_m] and [name_m]Nolan[/name_m].

Its more common for girls but it feels masculine to me.

It’s all boy to me. To be blunt(ish), I can’t really fathom it’s use for girls. Maybe because I first heard it on a make character.

It sounds more feminine than masculine to me. I know a male [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] but honestly I like it better on a girl and its more common for girls anyways

Totally unisex name for me but that’s the more masculine spelling. I’ve mainly seen [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] for boys & [name_u]Payton[/name_u] for girls. [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] [name_m]Manning[/name_m] is the biggest association so I think most people would guess [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] was a boy.

I see it more as a girls name but much prefer the [name_u]Payton[/name_u] spelling. Its very trendy though, and although I see it as a girls name, with your boys names I would think it was another boy.

I only know of the football player and then one little girl with that name. I think it’s more masculine but I see it on more people’s baby girl name lists. So…really, I don’t know. Haha. [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] is kinda like [name_u]Avery[/name_u] to me, they seem boyish but it seems to be used more for girls.

I always think “girl” when I hear the name…

I know of both boy and girl Peytons, but I’ve always preferred it on a boy. In a sib set with [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_m]Graysen[/name_m] I would assume it was a boy.

I know quite a bit of both boys and girls named [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] so I’m completely split down the middle for this one. However with your sibset I would not use [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] if you had a girl I would definitely use something that was distinctly feminine.

I prefer [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] on boys.

I don’t love it for either but I see it as a girl name now. I would feel bad for a boy named [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] in 2015.

I think of it as more of a female name, since that was my first encounter with the name. That being said, I don’t think [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] is a great name for a daughter, given your sons’ names. I’d go with a name that is more clearly female.
