Boyish girl names

Sometimes I just think of girls when I hear certain boy names
[name_f]My[/name_f] first choice for a girl this round is [name_u]Milo[/name_u]
And if I have a boy I love [name_u]Wiley[/name_u]
I may just want to use wylee for a girl because I love the name so much

What do y’all think about [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] for a girl
I feel like anything ending in A sounds girly
I also love [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] for a girl!

Any other unique unisex names you can think of ?
Siblings are [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and step son [name_m]Trey[/name_m]

Thanks!

I think out of the two [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] would be easier for a girl to wear than [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]. For me I immediately think [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Wood[/name_m] ([name_m]Frodo[/name_m]).

I do think it’ll get easier over the years for girls to wear traditionally boys names due to signatures containing pronouns and the growing education on gender fluidness. Not that your child would automatically be gender-fluid but rather it will hopefully breakdown gender assumptions that come along with names.

My first thought is just signing off an email or something like that.

Ezra is close to [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] if you wanted something more destinctively feminine but it seems like you’re loving boy names for girls! Which is totally okay. [name_m]Just[/name_m] some thoughts

Ezra feels harsh on a boy to me but for some reason very fun on a girl!

I’m not a fan of [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] on a girl. It’s 100% masculine in my mind.

Since [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] is in the top 10 (in the U.S. at least) for boys, I wouldn’t use it on a girl. [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] and [name_u]Wiley[/name_u]/Wylie (I like this spelling for girls) seem more doable!

Some unisex/boyish names that could pair well with [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_m]Trey[/name_m]:

Ellery
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u]
[name_u]Finley[/name_u]
[name_u]Frankie[/name_u]
[name_u]Harley[/name_u]
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]
[name_u]Marlow[/name_u] / [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] / [name_u]Marlo[/name_u]
[name_u]Mica[/name_u] / [name_u]Micah[/name_u] / [name_u]Mycah[/name_u]
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] / [name_u]Remi[/name_u]
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]

Finley is really cute for both but it’s my friends dogs name! [name_u]Palmer[/name_u] is super cute. Is that a southern name do you think?

I like [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] for a girl:)

Arlo
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u]
[name_u]Quincy[/name_u]
[name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]
[name_u]Beau[/name_u]/Bo
[name_u]Bowie[/name_u]
[name_u]Brooks[/name_u]
[name_u]Collins[/name_u]

Carsyn
[name_u]Kameron[/name_u]
[name_u]Randi[/name_u]
[name_u]Logan[/name_u]
[name_f]Dawsyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]

If you like [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] how about [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] /Elliot? I feel like [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] is much more wearable for a girl. And she’d have the nn options “[name_f]Elle[/name_f]” “[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]” or “lottie” if she decides she wants a more fem name later on.

Esra, [name_u]Isra[/name_u], and Asra are girl names pronounced the same or similar to [name_u]Ezra[/name_u]! Maybe [name_u]Noa[/name_u] would appeal?

Hiya!

We named our daughter Asher and she has a girly middle name.

I love gender neutral names or even boyish names for little girls. I always find those little girls to have so much character.

Here is my list of favorte names lately:

Emory
Charlie
Ryann
Jonah
Jasper
Vivian
Ellis
Harper
Harlow
Wyatt

Hope this helps!
